Clean India Campaign: Taj Mahal to be adopted by ONGC

Taj  Mahal, One of the masterpiece of world heritage, will now protected by Clean India Campaign . Taj Mahal would be  adopted by ONGC. This announcement was made on 23-July-2013 at Agra in the presence of Union Tourism Minister K.Chiranjeevi.

 

 

Archeological Survey Of India (ASI) also agreed on proposal of ONGC to undertake Ellora & Elephanta Caves-Maharashtra, Red Fort-Delhi, Golkonda Fort-Hydrabad, Mahabalipuram-Tamilnadu under this campaign.

 

 

About Clean India campaign

Clean India Campaign has been initiated by Ministry Of Tourism, India during 12th Five Year Plan to improve the quality of service and environ in and around tourist destination in India.

The campaign is being implemented with the involvement of public and private sector stakeholders.
